How to Decorate Your Home Based on Your Star Sign

Have you been ignoring your astrological sign with your home decor? Let the stars be your guide to cosmic harmony at home. This is going to be fun.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

Aquarius personalities are intellectual and care about charitable and humanitarian causes. They also like modern styles and lines and enjoy compartmentalizing both mentally and physically. An Aquarius will feel the most comfortable in clean spaces where everything has a place, surrounded by photos and books that celebrate causes they care about most.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

Dreamy Pisces needs to be in a space that lets creative energy flow. They should be surrounded by mementos and artwork that have meaning. Pisceans who enjoy meditation at home should incorporate calm colors like seafoam green and lilac.

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

An Aries personality is fervent, busy, and success-driven. Their spaces should be accented with “power red” in some form, as well as some physical accolades to show off their accomplishments. At the end of the day, Aries should come home to a space that makes her feel proud of everything she’s working for.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

Cool and classic Taurus is earthy and lives best in spaces that celebrate nature. Lush green plants, antiques, and leather-crafted furniture look best in a bull’s pad. A faux fur throw blanket also looks great, draped over a chair or on the bed.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

The Gemini likes to let loose and mix it up! Use patterns, bold colors, and take on trends to satisfy the twin sides of this late spring sign. Have fun with knick-knacks! Mixing and matching rugs is where it’s at for this sign.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

Spaces full of natural light and lighter earth tones are what speaks to this romantic, intuitive, and self-reflective sign. Cancers need a space that feels effortless—not too loud, not too bold, and definitely not too busy. Think shabby-chic with lots of small personal touches, like family heirlooms and black and white photos.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

Bold and audacious Leo needs a room to roar in. Bright colors that spark passion and fire look best in the lion’s den. Leos love to entertain, so they’re drawn to conversation pieces, pop art, and items that’ll get the party going—like a record player or a stylishly stocked bar cart.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

The Virgo is a total perfectionist. Minimalist spaces with everything put away, save for a few personal touches, are all this sign needs to feel right at home. Virgo spaces are best without knick-knacks but are great for larger pieces of standalone decor, like a succulent and cactus terrarium, or something functional, like a chic lamp or one-of-a-kind ceramics.

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

Libra has great taste and loves to be surrounded by beautiful things, whether it’s clothes, personal treasures, or great textures and fabrics. Known as the balanced sign, they find a way to make it all work and look great together. Eclectic chic!

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

Personalized, dramatic, and dark are all features of a Scorpio space. This private and sensual sign finds ways to perfectly curate their passions into their space with precision, style, and a hint of danger. Everyone wants to be in alluring Scorpio’s space—but whether they’ll let you in is a completely different question.

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

Sagittarius is the traveler sign, so decorating with relics and treasures from trips or building a library with books that allow them to escape to new worlds or plan their next excursion is always a good idea. Sagittarius also loves change, so bringing in new exciting pieces from time to time can stave off decor boredom.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

This earth sign enjoys a haven full of muted tones and elegance. Hard-working Capricorn enjoys stately pieces that are beautiful enough to photograph. Although the Capricorn is very independent and somewhat serious, they love to entertain, so creating open spaces perfect for connecting with friends is ideal too.
