Healthy and Creative Mocktails for an Easy Dry January

If you’re on the Dry January train, we have some good news: First, you’ve already made it halfway through the month (go you!), and second, just because you’re dry doesn’t mean you have to sip seltzer all night. We asked Brooklyn-based Morris Kitchen, makers of some of our favorite cocktail mixers, for mocktail recommendations, and they did not disappoint. Try serving these nonalcoholic drinks at your next party, and we promise they’ll feel just as fun and festive as your favorite cocktail. Plus, they include healthy ingredients like antioxidant-rich matcha and anti-inflammatory turmeric, so you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing you’re actually doing good by your body.

 

 

Ginger Turmeric Tonic

2 oz Morris Kitchen Ginger Spice Mixer
2 oz Seltzer Water
1 bar spoon Turmeric Powder

 

Combine mixer, turmeric, ice and shake. Top with seltzer and garnish with edible flowers, citrus peel, or candied ginger.

 

 

Matcha Agave

2 oz Morris Kitchen Citrus Agave
2 oz Seltzer Water
1 bar spoon Matcha Powder
Orange Peel

 

Combine mixer and matcha powder and shake with ice. Strain over a fresh ice cube and top with seltzer. Garnish with an orange peel.
